The 36th CAOS AAO Educational Program, the most delicious event of AAO, was held during the American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting in Chicago, Illinois, on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 6 pm.

We had an outstanding event, with 120 attendees!

Dr. Victoria Tseng, from UCLA Stein Eye Institute, gave a fantastic talk about “Glaucoma in the Population: Factors to Consider" and Keynote Speaker, Dr. Michael Chiang, Director of the National Eye Institute, delivered a fantastic talk about “Thoughts about career development and leadership as an Asian American"

Dr. Jacob Heng, 3rd year resident from Yale, was awarded the resident research award.

Dr. James C. Tsai, President of New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mt. Sinai, was awarded the CAOS Pioneer Award.

The event was emceed by our President, Dr. Christopher Teng.

The incoming President, Dr. Jonathan Song, was introduced, as well as our incoming board member, Dr. Samuel Yiu and current board members Dr. Kristina Pao and Dr. Sophie Deng.
